The fibers in bamboo toilet paper share this durability, providing a product that resists tearing easily. Bamboo toilet paper often comes in 1-ply or 2-ply options, which offer strength while remaining soft on the skin. Even more durability can be found in 3-ply and 4-ply bamboo sheets, which are what our products offer.

Not at all. Despite its strength and durability, bamboo toilet paper is actually very soft and gentle. In fact, depending on the brand, bamboo toilet paper can be even softer than conventional or recycled options. Additionally, the production process for bamboo toilet paper avoids harmful chemicals, making it a skin-friendly choice.

Our toilet paper is produced in China, home to the world’s largest bamboo forests. This allows us to source abundant, local, and natural raw materials for our products. China also has deep expertise in working with bamboo, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. Leaves of Dawn® products are made from 100% bamboo, meaning everything from the core to the roll and the wrapper is derived entirely from bamboo. Additionally, by manufacturing in China, we contribute to supporting local communities and their economies.

Leaves of Dawn® toilet paper offers a long-lasting roll with 40 meters of paper weighing 180 grams for just €1,03. Many regular 3-ply toilet paper rolls available on the market are shorter, often around 15 meters and weighing about 60 grams, with prices averaging €0.39. While individual preferences and needs may vary, Leaves of Dawn® provides a practical and competitive option.

Each Leaves of Dawn® roll is wrapped in bamboo kraft paper, printed using vegetable-based inks. This wrapper helps keep the toilet paper clean and soft while providing an eco-friendly alternative to plastic. Additionally, our custom-made cardboard boxes serve as both packaging and logistical support, reducing the need for extra materials and minimizing waste.

Yes, both the core and wrapper can be recycled with paper waste. The wrapper is made from bamboo and printed with vegetable-based inks, while the core is also bamboo-based. As a result, both are suitable for disposal in paper recycling.

Currently, a box of Leaves of Dawn® contains boxes of 48 and 24 extra-large rolls of toilet paper. Since shipping from China is the biggest contributor to our CO2 emissions, we aim to reduce our environmental impact by transporting larger quantities of toilet paper to Europe at once. As a result, smaller orders are not yet sustainable, and our products are currently only available for online purchase. However, we are actively working on making Leaves of Dawn® available in smaller quantities and closer to your location soon.

With each roll from Leaves of Dawn® containing 330 sheets, each person typically consumes about 3 rolls per month. For a family of four, this could mean around 3 rolls weekly, depending on school and work schedules. The whiteness of our products is achieved through the Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) process, using chlorine dioxide (ClO₂) and hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) instead of elemental chlorine, preventing the formation of harmful compounds.
